Car’s Built

-My 1969 Chevy Camaro. It had a 355 CI small block Chevy, Powerglide transmission with an 8" converter and a Dana 60 rear with 5.13 gears. Weighing in at 3000 lbs., it went a best of 10.68 at 122.32 mph. The car was the 1993 Advanced Trophy Champion and 1994 Heavy E.T. Champion.

-Jerry Lafredo’s 1969 Chevy Camaro Convertible. It had a 355 CI small block Chevy with an 8.5:1 compression ratio. A Turbo 350 trans with a 10" converter and a 12 bolt rear with 4.56 gears rounded out the package. Weighing in at 3750 lbs. and running through full exhaust, the car ran a best of 12.21 at 110.32 mph.

-Dennis Horvath’s 1968 Chevy Camaro. It had a 427 .030 over big block Chevy with 10:1 compression ratio, 1.76 first gear ratio Powerglide trans with a 10" converter, and a 12 bolt rear with 4.56 gears. Weighing in at 3500 lbs., it ran a best of 10.65 at 124.10 mph.

-Anthony Fetch’s 1984 Chevy Camaro. Built from bumper to bumper, it has a 355 CI small block Chevy with a hydraulic cam and 10.25:1 compression ratio. It has a Turbo 350 trans with a 10" converter and only a 7.5 rear with 4.11 gears. With the car weighing in at 3350 lbs. and running through mufflers it has run a best of 12.13 at 110 mph. It is also a many time race winner and multi-time track champ.

-Jonathan’s 1969 Chevy Nova. Building the engine and trans, it ran a best of 12.84 at 105 mph weighing in at 3450 lbs. Providing the motivation was a 355 CI Chevy small block with a small hydraulic cam and 10:1 compression ratio; Turbo 350 trans with a 10" converter, and a 12 bolt rear with 4.10 gears.

-Shannon Zulla’s 1969 Chevy Nova. I built the complete car. It had a 355 CI small block Chevy with 9.5:1 compression ratio, stock 461 cast heads, and an Edelbrock Performer RPM intake manifold. The motor was bolted to a Turbo 400 trans with a 10" 4100 rpm stall converter and a 12 bolt with rear with 4.11 gears. With the car weighing 3420 lbs. and running through mufflers, it ran a best of 12.41 at 109.50 mph and won the 1998 High School Championship.

-Billy Moran’s 1978 Chevy Malibu. With this car, I assembled, installed, and tuned the 468 CI Chevy big block. It has a 10:1 compression ratio and a small solid cam.  A Turbo 400 trans with a 10" converter, 12 bolt rear with 4.56 gears and Southside traction bars get the power to the ground. Running on 8.8 x 28" D.O.T. tires and pump gas, weighing in at 3670 lbs., it has run a best of 11.02 at 122.50.

These are just some of the cars that Z Team Performance has built within the past few years.
