Z Team Racing is ready to do battle at Old Bridge Township Raceway Park for the 2000 season title. "We currently have two cars ready. My dragster will once again be running for the track championship in Super E.T. while my son John will be shooting for both the High School and Advanced Trophy titles with his 1981 Camaro," John said. "With the dragster I plan on running at least five national events and the entire Division One circuit in Super Comp. And, with any luck, I should be out competing with the K/SA Monte Carlo sometime by mid-season."

 "I can’t wait to get out there," Johnny Zulla said about racing his first full season. "I have done well in the past driving a couple of different Jr. Dragsters for various teams, and I hope that I can continue with the big car." Z Team Racing, along with Z Team Performance teammates Billy Moran, Anthony Fetch, and Frankie Cicerale, opens up the season March 5th , which is Opening Day at Old Bridge Township Raceway Park.
